ESOP Direct congratulates Infosys for winning the GEO Award for the most Innovative and Creative Plan design.
At the recently held Annual conference of GEO (Global Equity Organization) at Rome, our esteemed client Infosys Ltd. were awarded for designing and implementing the most Innovative Creative Plan of Equity compensation for their global employees.
After a break of more than a decade, Infosys revived its Equity compensation plans by implementing seven different types of equity instruments covering over 8,000 employees located in more than 40 countries. This Plan by far is the largest and most complex Stock Incentive Rewards program in the Indian technology industry. The complexity of the design can be gauged from the fact that the Plan addresses employee preferences, Tax and other regulatory requirements in more than 40 countries.
The company’s excellence in Plan design, communication, roll out and management encompassing global best practices were noted and recognized while choosing them as the recipient of this coveted award. The Judging Panel was also awed by the scale, complexity and global reach of the Plan which is directly linked to company’s business strategy and goals.
It has been our privilege to have been engaged closely in the Design, Roll out and Management of this ambitious Plan.
Some of the other award recipients for various categories at this conference included Google, SAP, Nokia, Aviva, Adidas, BHP Billiton, Teva, etc.
